The strategic alliance formed between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan has, in recent years, played an essential role in reshaping the regional security architecture, deepening diplomatic relations, and strengthening military-political solidarity. The relations uniting these three countries are rooted not only in historical, cultural, and ideological ties, but have also risen to a more systematic level of cooperation in line with the geopolitical challenges of the modern era.
The magnificent parade held yesterday in Baku, with the joint participation of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan, stands as one of the highest political symbols of this brotherhood. The fact that the leaders addressed the public from the same podium in Baku is further confirmation of both the fifth anniversary of the Karabakh Victory and the unshakable solidarity of this trilateral power center.
Azerbaijan–Türkiye–Pakistan brotherhood: the strategic pillar of a new geopolitical reality

One of the most important milestones in the friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan was the historic meeting in Lachin between President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif of Pakistan. The Lachin meeting carried special significance as it marked the first time the three leaders gathered together in the liberated territories. This was not merely a diplomatic gesture – it was a clear expression of the new balance of power emerging in the region. The inviolability of borders, commitment to a peace agenda, joint efforts against terrorism and separatism, as well as the further expansion of economic, transport, and energy projects formed the core themes of this meeting. During the Lachin discussions, the leaders also announced that the reconstruction and development processes underway in the liberated Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur regions would be supported within a trilateral cooperation framework.
Azerbaijan–Türkiye–Pakistan brotherhood

At the military parade held in Baku on November 8, all three leaders once again emphasized the solidarity between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan. President Ilham Aliyev noted that the Azerbaijan–Türkiye–Pakistan unity has shaped new security realities in the region, stressing that these relations are not merely political cooperation, but also a reflection of the unity of our peoples and our armed forces.
“Five years ago, at the Victory Parade, my dear brother Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stood with us. Today, another dear brother is standing with us as well. The Prime Minister of brotherly Pakistan, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, is our guest. The state and people of Pakistan supported and stood in solidarity with Azerbaijan during the 44-day Patriotic War. Today, for the first time, Pakistani servicemen are also standing with us on Freedom Square. This is a manifestation of the unity of the three nations – the peoples and armies of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan,” President Ilham Aliyev emphasized.
Unity and strategic solidarity of the Turkic world

During his speech at the parade, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan described Azerbaijan’s Victory as “the pride of the entire Turkic world.”
Erdoğan’s message — “We are one nation, two states” — is not merely a political statement; it is the ideological manifesto of the real military, diplomatic, and economic integration achieved over the past five years: “The liberation of Karabakh is not only a source of immense pride for Azerbaijan, but also for the entire Turkic world. Every step taken by the Azerbaijani Army on the soil of Karabakh, every drop of blood shed for independence and honor, has been inscribed in our shared history in golden letters as a mark of pride for the Turkic world. Today, the Azerbaijani soldier stands shoulder to shoulder, side by side with his soldier brothers who came from Türkiye. When we look at our soldiers, we can all clearly see what the slogan ‘One nation, two states’ truly means. The Flag of Freedom, rising over the sacred blood of our martyrs that has blended together, now waves with honor, pride, and glory across all of Karabakh.”
Messages of justice and solidarity from the prime minister of Pakistan

The speech of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also drew attention with important messages. He described the Karabakh Victory as a “restoration of justice” and expressed deep respect and support for the people of Azerbaijan.
Highlighting that “Pakistan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye – three brothers whose hearts beat as one – stand shoulder to shoulder today, celebrating this magnificent event together,” Shahbaz Sharif added: “The entire world witnessed with astonishment how the brave Armed Forces of Azerbaijan liberated Karabakh, the crown of their ancestral homeland. Throughout the struggle for the liberation of these lands, Pakistan stood firmly beside brotherly Azerbaijan like a rock. And this will remain so in the future as well.
Azerbaijan’s Victory in Karabakh has become a powerful triumph of justice and a beacon of hope for all nations fighting for sovereignty and self-determination – including the brave and resilient people of Gaza, and the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who remain under India’s unlawful occupation,” he said, emphasizing that the Victory achieved in Karabakh carries great significance not only for Azerbaijan but also for other nations facing injustice and oppression.
Azerbaijan–Türkiye–Pakistan unity: peace, cooperation, strength

Alongside these speeches, the leaders standing side by side at the parade, the coordinated march of military contingents, the waving flags, and the display of symbols of all three countries on the same platform carried more than symbolic meaning. This was also a clear message to the region: the brotherhood between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan is not confined to an ideological framework – it has moved into the sphere of real military-political power and strategic cooperation. This unity has a direct impact on regional security, international diplomatic equilibrium, and future economic integration.
Thus, the parade demonstrated that the friendship among these three countries is not merely a bond rooted in history, but has already evolved into a strategic force that must be taken into account on a global scale. From the Lachin meeting to the grand parade held in Baku, this political trajectory is now regarded as one of the core pillars shaping the geopolitical realities of a new era. The Azerbaijan–Türkiye–Pakistan brotherhood will continue to play a vital role in regional cooperation, the balance of power, and the concept of peace not only in the South Caucasus but also across a broader geography.
