Someone Somebody (is) Long Gone

Today’s Release Day
Grateful to have released a single today with my friends D-Code, Psylence, and Katja. Peep it below:
Last month I also had another feature release in the form of a song called Someone Somebody with my guy HØST:
Duality and Synchronicity
It’s funny, these are two very different songs energy-wise, but they express the same thoughts in different ways. Two sides of the same coin.
Long Gone is definitely a deviation from the darker sound I surround myself with. This is all about uplifting, allowing yourself to feel light, and being intentional about separating yourself from worldly possessions or vain metrics.

Nobody else has the answers for you, it’s up to you to forge your own path.
The boys D-Code and Psylence kill it every time (I still love our collab from a few years back: We Got You). This was my first time working with Katja and I only wish I’d discovered her music sooner.
Someone Somebody is the same story, just much more aggressive. This is a bit more of a braggadocios celebration of self, ending with saying that we’re done just trying to be somebody. We already are somebody.
The Coincidence
- Both songs were written and recorded a couple years ago
- Both songs came out within about a month of each other this year
- After they were first written on this topic I ironically experienced a pretty long rough patch that tested how much I believed what I wrote
Good news is that it held up the entire time. It’s no surprise when you write based on your true beliefs.
Just Keep it Pushing
I think the main point I wanted to make in both songs is to just do what you want and be the best version of yourself that you can. I’m still on a journey of making incremental progress each day, taking it all step by step, and looking forward to overcoming whatever the next challenge is after what I’ve conquered in the past.
More music is on the way.
