Police said they’re looking for a driver who allegedly struck and killed a Bronx man in the borough over the weekend and fled the scene.

Officers responded to a 911 call about a crash at Boston Road and East 222nd Street in Williamsbridge around 12:15 a.m. Saturday, according to NYPD officials. They learned the driver of a 2025 BMW M8 was going east when the driver struck the man, who was crossing East 222nd Street from north to south, officials said.

Police said the driver then slammed into a nearby telephone pole. One of the car’s passengers, a 28-year-old man, sustained minor injuries. The driver escaped and the NYPD has not yet announced any arrests in the case.
