I keep being told vibe coding works. I keep being told AI agents work. I keep trying them every few weeks because of this and boy do they just not work. They do things that look like they are working, but that is much different than actually working. Ask it to do a simple task and it fails. Ask it to do a complex task and it fails. I’ve tried both ends of the spectrum and points in between. I’m not sure why people think this is useful.
