if it really comes down to it. if someone wants to know you. to know who you really are. what you are hiding from the world. the different versions of you. the ugly versions of you.
will you let them? will you let yourself be vulnerable?

if it really comes down to it. if someone wants to know you. to know who you really are. what you are hiding from the world. the different versions of you. the ugly versions of you.
will you let them? will you let yourself be vulnerable?
risking so many things. risking a heartbreak that will never heal, one that will haunt you for eternity. high risk high reward. i heard them say as they described our research.
high risk. high reward.
would that be the same with vulnerability? having yourself completely bare before someone. with nothing to protect you. with them having all the power to do anything.
are you willing to let yourself be in that position?
the act of slowly stripping away who you are, to who you really are.
behind the screen, the cameras, the eyes of the public, the pedestal people put you in, the image they have of you, their perceptions of you, the stories people make and heard about you.
you strip yourself off of the person you present to the world, to the only person you are with when you’re alone.
it’s in people’s nature to be greedy. though, we all differ in control it’s in people’s nature to take. in fact, people take more than they need. deeply clouded by their wants and mask it as a need it’s in people’s nature to be jealous. faking a smile when they give a compliment when in their head’s they want to- it’s in our nature to be selfish. do you really think about others before yourself? it’s in our nature to judge. our mind’s tell so much more than what we say.
so would you?
strip yourself off of everything and bare your naked self before somebody else?
