K-9 Mail, now known as Thunderbird for Android, is a very serviceable e-mail client for Android cellphones. It’s particularly useful for de-Googlers, because it’s open-source, and has no dependencies on any Google service. You can install it using F-Droid, or just get the .apk from the project’s GitHub repository, which also holds the source code.
