Resolve AI, a startup founded by former Splunk executives, has reached a $1 billion valuation in a Series A financing round, according to people familiar with the deal. The round was said to be led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, while reporting also described the financing as being done at multiple valuation tiers that included $1 billion. The company is building an autonomous site reliability engineering (SRE) tool aimed at automatically maintaining software systems, a problem area that matters to almost every online service people rely on.
