I do a lot of pro-social organizing work for the Twitter NYC community, and a lot of it is because I want to build the infrastructure that I desperately needed when I was younger/was key to healing myself, and a lot of people in a culture of loneliness. I’m currently battling a ton of financial insecurity as I switch careers from journalism, where I had pinned a lot of my hopes and dreams, into a role where I can use my propensity for people skills and communication 🫡 Going home isn’t an option at the moment, so any amount toward helping me out would go a long way at this time. In return, I want to get back into an emotional wellness place to put my pen back to work and write the pieces that can help others find their place in this big, scary world, and combat the scarcity of meaning we face today as an overstimulated generation. I’ve done some of it on Twitter - I want to do even more.
