Features All Iconic Landmarks
Starting with what you’re getting here – the set comes with 649 pieces in total. It’s not too big; just enough to have a fun activity with friends over the weekend. You will build a mini version of the most iconic and beloved landmark in Paris, the Eiffel Tower, but that’s not it. You’ll also piece together the Arc de Triomphe, which honors those who fought and died for France during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, as well as the world’s largest art museum, the Louvre. Other landmarks featured include the Grand Palais with its glass dome, a soaring skyscraper known as Tour Montparnasse, and the Champs-Elysées, which happens to be one of the most famous avenues in the world.
The attention to detail here is impressive, and even the color palette is designed to mimic the real buildings. You’ll also find a booklet inside the box that gives you background information about each of the landmarks. You can learn about the designer, architecture, and history of each structure as you go about building these, which adds to the experience. The LEGO instruction book takes you through each step clearly, so the process won’t feel overwhelming. You can also download the LEGO Builders app for digital, 3D instructions. In the app, you can zoom in on each step, track your progress, save sets, etc.
The set is recommended for ages 12 and up, but honestly, it’s something every age group can enjoy. Once it’s all set, you can place it on your desk or bookshelf; it’s going to leave your visitors impressed!
