Protected bike lanes are coming to an east-west corridor connecting the Westwood and Sawtelle neighborhoods under new plans being developed by the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT).

The Ohio Avenue Safety and Mobility project, which would span from Westwood Boulevard in the east to Centinela Avenue at the Santa Monica city line on the west, would include protected bike lanes as well as a host of other traffic calming measures.
