Hello again! This was as unexpected for me as it may be for you but, I released a new update for a project that was indeed meant to just be “the thing I write so that I get myself writing and have something under my belt.” But alas, here we are! Changes include:

• Polished up writing;

• fixing typos, making more things abide by grammar, (seriously what is the fricking “punctuation,” goes before closing the quote rule??);

• Adjusted sound mixing;

• the novel’s biggest flaws were in the sound mixing being very loud and obnoxious at points where it was not intentional, this was fully on me since my audio setup is completely trash and haphazard, most of my friends can attest to this;

• Bonus gallery;

• as a nice little extra for finishing the game there’s a small menu with the comics that inspired the game, sadly only in English.

ROMANIAN LOCALIZATION!!

This was frankly one of the biggest dreams I had with this project and my writing in general. Of course, this is because it is my native language and writing sincerely in it was something I’d aspired for but also was very nervous about.

Another factor is accessibility of my works, I really do want them to reach anybody they can reach. I don’t want to go on a whole spiel about how art helped me with a lot of the harder aspects of my life, but I’d like to think that perhaps this translation can maybe reach someone and that they can relate to it. It still is one of my first attempts at writing in the language though, but alas!

GOODBYES & FUTURE?

Thank you very much for keeping up with my work and reading this dev log! I hope you’ll stick around and see the rest of what I have in store with Alma. In fact, some of it already exists on my youtube channel (I’d recommend L.a.G,B., but keep in mind, it’s in a different place for a reason.)

I also plan to release a collection of my old comics which, to some extent, star a Proto-Alma, isn’t that exciting? I find these pretty charming and want to compile them for a better reading experience, even if they don’t tell some overarching story, they’re still fun doodads of the past that helped me in harsher times.

With all that said, I’d strongly recommend refreshing your mind on the story if you have the time! I don’t think you’ll regret it! Infact, I think there’s a big surprise waiting for you. But you didn’t hear it from me...****
