Operating nightly in the Carrion District, the Markets emerged from economic necessity when healing magic became expensive and conventional medicine failed the poor. Now three thousand people pass through each night: sellers trading their flesh for survival, buyers seeking organs and materials, brokers profiting from desperation, and those who make it all function.
