Plasma Mobile 6.5 has more consistent background blur effects for the Folio and Halcyons home screens.
Among other things, Plasma Mobile 6.5 now:
- Lets you set up and manage Waydroid from the Plasma Mobile Settings app, simplifying the process of creating an environment for running Android apps. You can also toggle a Waydroid container on or off from the Quick Settings men.
- Has a lock screen that loads more quickly and displays notifications properly. There’s also now a double-tap-to-lock feature that lets you lock your phone’s screen without pressing the power button.
- Features more consistent background blur using the Folio or Halcyon home screens.
- Has a dedicated navigation menu in the Settings app, as well as a tutorial for using gesture-based navigation.
- Allows you to adjust the maximum number of quick settings columns (so you can have more on a tablet than you would on a phone, for example).
You can now choose the maximum number of columns in the quick settings drop-down.
You can find more new and improved features in the Plasma Mobile 6.5 release announcement and complete changelog.
