Hi Randal,

Thank you for your interest in “I Fought the Law.” To answer your questions:

1) There was nothing other than my imagination that inspired me. I was alone in my living room one afternoon with a West Texas sandstorm going on outside, trying to write a song. I was just pickin’ my guitar and letting my mind go, the way you do when you write a song. It only took about twenty minutes. It sort of scares me, but I don’t think I ever wrote it down.
