This is my take on the approach, with a model designed completely from scratch making all the changes I wish the original one had to accommodate my needs.
This is a modular system, you can print the parts to mount on a 10“ rack or a 19“ rack. More parts can and will be made available over time to attach together on the side.
The cable routing is not the best, I am open for suggestions on how to improve, but for now that is plenty of room to route the cables on the bottom of the case using a 1-3 fan head…

This is a modular system, you can print the parts to mount on a 10“ rack or a 19“ rack. More parts can and will be made available over time to attach together on the side.
The cable routing is not the best, I am open for suggestions on how to improve, but for now that is plenty of room to route the cables on the bottom of the case using a 1-3 fan header splitter. I am also using a USB adapter to plug the fans to the back of the unit but you might be able to plug them in the internal header with some other adapter too (I did not check on that, do at your own risk).

!!! ATTENTION !!! - V1 parts are NOT compatible with V2 due to improvements in the way the modules connect together!
The new version can be printed with virtually no support, except for a very small piece inside the clip are in the back. This support can be a bit hard to remove after printing but it saves a lot of material. Be sure to remove that small piece since it will block the clip.
Some of the changes:
- Improved tolerances, the MS-A2 will fit better and have a better connection with the case
- Improved connectors, the modules fit nicely together with a tighter fit that is stronger and better
- Replaced previous front vent module with a 3D-printed mesh one
- Added module to store the PSU and also place to add a JetKVM
