Every night, as we tuck-in our kids, our four year old asks me…

Dad, can you

1. check on me, and
2. ask mom to check on me, and
3. make one egg in a one-egg cooking pot, and
4. ask mom to make me a breakfast drink?

He’s asked this every night for almost a year now and I’m going to miss the hell out of it when he stops.

P.S. This is the one-egg cooking pot pan he’s referring to; we use one to make fried-egg sandwiches most weekend mornings.
