I used to think of sleep as a natural process like breathing or an Instagram session without any awareness.

I would simply flop onto the bed after a tiring day, switch on the phone, allow the algorithm to perform its task, and wait for the outcome.

Nevertheless, I was always exhausted. It was not only physical exhaustion — I mean the tiredness that is so heavy it almost invades your brain and the whole world becomes a blur.

I suspected that there was a medical issue but the truth was that my lifestyle during the night was the cause.
