I started a link directory site called portal and I’ve been asking people to recommend things for me to put on it.

One such site that got recommended was andrei.xyz, which the most notable thing about this site is that it’s very frequently updated and has posts that go back to 2002.

It occured to me, “Wow, this is what goeshard.org could be one day if I didn’t lose faith in it on the second year.”

Andrei doesn’t seem to be afraid of old him getting mixed up with new him. The writing and post style over the years changes. And since the .xyz TLD didn’t exist back in 2002, I assume it’s a collection of posts from multiple sites packed into one. So he’s not worried about the OPSEC of this either.

Do I wish I was like that?

I don’t know. It’s nice to go over to goeshard.org and say, “Wow, you wrote so professionally about different topics,” and then I come over here to this blog and see I Should Have Been Aborted is the last post; no wonder I fracture myself into aspects.

If I pack everything together, the best parts of me would be buried beneath the ugliest parts. But the ugliest parts are sometimes the most honest and sincere.

And you don’t even know what it would look like if I aggregated all my posts back from 2002. Like you really don’t even know how much of a different person I was.

Sometimes I think about merging all the aspects together but I’m just not sure if I would really want that.
