Ice hockey star Alexander Ovechkin on Wednesday became the first player in National Hockey League (NHL) history to score 900 goals. The Russian player, who has been with the Washington Capitals since 2004, scored the second goal in his team’s 6-1 victory over the St Louis Blues.
