A Russian drone deliberately struck a vehicle belonging to the humanitarian mission Proliska in the Donetsk region, reports Yevhen Tkachev, head of the Proliska humanitarian mission.
According to Tkachev, the drone targeted a car carrying Proliska volunteers and foreign media representatives. The exact location is not being disclosed for security reasons.
Journalists were inside the humanitarian vehicle
According to n-tv, the car carried Christian Wehrschütz, a correspondent for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF), and his Spanish colleague. They were traveling with the humanitarian mission to Kostiantynivka.
The journalists managed to film the attack. The video shows passengers running out of the car, followed by an explosion. Debris, a detached bumper, flames, and smoke are visible afterward.
The vehicle was an evacuation transport marked with the Proliska humanitarian mission insignia.
Christian Werschütz said on social media that the drone had hovered for several seconds, as if observing, and that they managed to jump out just before the explosion occurred.
Earlier, on the night of November 8, the Russian army attacked Kyiv with drones. In the Pecherskyi district, drone fragments fell into the yard of a residential building.
Previously, a Russian drone deliberately targeted a humanitarian mission vehicle in Chasiv Yar.
