**The Los Angeles Lakers got back on track with a nice road win against the Charlotte Hornets. **

After an embarrassing blowout loss to the Atlanta Hawks, which saw JJ Redick call out the Los Angeles Lakers, the purple and gold responded with a nice performance.

Luka Doncic led the way with 38 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers now improve to 8-3 on the season.

Austin Reaves was right behind him with a 24-point, 7-assist and 5-rebound game.

Rui Hachimura has been having a super efficient season with the Los Angeles Lakers

Lakers star Rui Hachimura continues to be an impactful two-way presence for the Lakers this season.

It has been his efficiency from the field that has really been impressive, as Hachimura is shooting it 58.6 percent from the field this season and 63.0 percent from the midrange.

The 27-year-old is having a career year in points per game (16.3), three-pointers per game, (2.0), field goal percentage (58.6) and three-point percentage (52.4).

Against the Hornets, Hachimura poured in 21 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the field and 3-for-3 shooting from deep.

Rui Hachimura has established himself as a legitimate fourth option

Hachimura’s defense has improved all while he has become one of the best shooting frontcourt players in the league. He will give the Lakers one of the best fourth options in the NBA.

It remains to be seen how much Hachimura’s production will dip once LeBron James returns from injury, but he has done his part so far.

Hachimura has been efficient in every major shooting category and he has been most effective in the mid-range.

Having him be this efficient will only help the Lakers stars when they need someone else to lean on.
