Austrian Lisa Theresa Hauser claimed her first biathlon World Cup win since 2022 in the women’s 10-kilometre pursuit in the final day of competition in Östersund, Sweden on Sunday. Hauser completed the race in 30 minutes 14.2 seconds with a clean shooting, beating World Cup leader Suvi Minkkinen of Finland, who missed one target, by 2.5 seconds. Anna Magnusson of Sweden completed the podium in third. World Cup defending champion Franziska Preuss was not competing due to illness. A men’s 12.5km pursuit is scheduled for later on Sunday.
