I have rewritten Chapter 9. I’m currently re-reading all of the story while updating the art, trying to catch any mispellings and inconsistencies before the full release.
While updating the art, I’m also painting them in 4K. I’ll include the full resolution versions within the Special Edition and, if possible, make a 4K version of the game. I believe Ren’py has no issues rendering at 4K but the UI needs some scripting tweaks to rescale properly, and it might need to be a separate executable.
Unfortunately, it’s pretty clear to me now that I won’t be able to finish the VN this year, though we are close. Release date is still to be decided.
