A pioneer in the study of meditation and well-being since the 1970s, Dr. Davidson’s work was famously encouraged by his friend and confidant, the Dalai Lama, who challenged him to apply the rigor of modern science to positive qualities like kindness and compassion. This app is the direct result of that challenge and is built on decades of research from the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
It’s available for iOS and Android and is 100% free. Not a freemium model, free trial or limited use model, a testament to the intention behind the app - to help teach people the skill of wellbeing, nothing more, nothing less. While it features a full ‘curriculum’, it can also be used for individual guided practices for specific purposes. I can’t recommend this app enough.
