When I joined the HNG No-Code Automation track, I didn’t realize how much logic, creativity, and structure went into “no-code.” The Stage 2 challenge pushed me to combine all three — to build a conditional data pipeline that automatically sorts ideas from Gmail into Airtable tables based on their category.
This is the story of how I built it — step by step — and what I learned along the way.

The entire flow had to be built with Gmail, Zapier, and Airtable — no code allowed.
