Hi!!

This is the first time acually typing on my Silakka, it takes about forever ;)

Couple of questions/issues:

1. I actually wonder if i am too stupid to assemble that thing. I bought it preassembled from AliX, only missing switches and caps. At first i put the additional plates, then mounted the switches, then the caps. Switches very loose, fell out without really using them. So now i have it like so: Switch > plate > caps. This is more stable, but the whole thing is loose, rattles like crazy and the stroke of the switches is limited. Anybody got some tips where the isse might be?! Cephalus seems to have built it like i did initially (see link/picture in #2 below), but i cant believe it... I bought basic Gateron browns.
2. To keep it cheap as the first foray into splits i ordered a more or less random keycap set from AliX. Could not find a cheap set with german ISO layout, so i now miss numerous caps. I cannibalized my old DuckeOne, but that kinda sucks. Additionaly, i had to mix differently angled caps, so the typing is very uneven and unpleasant. Can somebody hint me to a store where i can get a) german ISO b) flat/nonangled c) mainly 1X (some 1.25x) wide caps? Cephalus has a nice set on his screenshot Cephalus Silakka54 keycaps
3. Using vial is not an issue. But i am missing like 10 "essential" keys at the moment. I did set up a layer but dont have a key left for layerswitching... Any tips how to get used to a very minimal layout? I already defined ~30 keys for a num-/macropad that i want to build after dialing in the normal splitkb.
