Unburied
Unburied may be the best new show you haven’t heard about streaming on Prime Video right now. Released on October 30, Unburied follows Aylin, a girl from the suburbs of Mexico City who has an extraordinary power to communicate with the earth and uses it to solve various crimes.
The 7-part series – which is Spanish-language with English subtitles and dubbed audio available – is one of the most inventive new Prime Video shows of Fall 2025. You may recognize lead actress Lilith Curiel, who plays Aylin, from the 2023 action Netflix series The Chosen One. If you’re looking for something new this week, give Unburied a shot.
Hand of God
Far from a new series, *Hand of God *is still one of the best week-long binges available on Prime Video. Starring Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy) and Dana Delany (Tulsa King), *Hand of God *is a 2014 psychological drama series consisting of 20 episodes, all roughly an hour each.
While critics were mostly negative about Hand of God, audiences mostly loved the series, earning it a Rotten Tomatoes audience score of 85%. Perlman plays Pernell Harris, a corrupt judge who believes God is guiding him on a path of vigilantism. If this compelling series flew under your radar in the 2010s, it could make a great binge watch this week.
American Rust
Originally airing on Showtime, American Rust is one of the best crime dramas available to stream on Prime Video. Starring 2-time Emmy winner Jeff Daniels, the series is based on the celebrated novel by Philipp Meyer, which explores a complicated murder case through the eyes of Daniels’ small-town police chief, Del Harris.
American Rust received mostly positive ratings from fans, earning a Rotten Tomatoes audience score of 78%. Critics were rather harsh on season 1, which released in 2021, but were more favorable of season 2, which released in 2024 and got an 80% RT score. Consider this an absolute must-watch for all Jeff Daniels fans, as he gives a phenomenal performance.
Reacher
If you’re ever struggling to find something to binge on Prime Video that’s guaranteed to keep you hooked, Reacher is always a safe bet. Although season 4 is still months away, the Neagley spinoff series – which follows Reacher’s ally Frances Neagley – is expected to be released in early January.
A former military police officer turned nomadic vigilante, Reacher (played by Alan Ritchson) is the perfect combination of brains and brawn, making him a fantastic protagonist in an action crime series. With three seasons and 24 episodes ready to dive into, and a 96% Rotten Tomatoes score to back it up, you really can’t go wrong with Reacher.
Malice
The biggest new must-watch TV release on Prime Video this week is Malice, a 6-part thriller series that drops on Friday, November 14. Starring David Duchovny and Jack Whitehall, Malice follows a charming tutor (Whitehall) who inserts himself into a wealthy family’s life, only to reveal a revenge-fueled ulterior motive.
Considering Malice is one of the few new series releasing on Prime Video this month, and David Duchovny should pull in some strong viewership, it’s bound to be one of the most popular shows on the platform this weekend and beyond.
If you’re looking for a brand new thriller to sink your teeth into this week, Malice is the perfect binge on Prime Video.
