Speaking of Demidov, despite his great start, he’s aware there’s some work to be done at 5v5.
Ivan Demidov today when asked if he’s still “adapting” to the NHL:
“I’m not feeling comfortable 100%. I still need to work on little details…the 5v5 game, a lot of aspects of the game, D-zone, offensive zone. A lot of things I should work on.” pic.twitter.com/qOlCdPa5u5

If the Habs are looking to add a little more truculence and scoring to the bottom six, they may want to consider giving Laval Rocket forward Jared Davidson a call. Davidson is off to a great start of the year, with seven goals in 10 games, while already playing the brand of hockey preached by Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis. It seems top prospect Michael Hage played most of his rookie season with a nagging injury. The talented forward maintained a point-per-game pace in his freshman season, and currently has six goals and nine assists in 10 games.
Michigan coach on Michael Hage last year:
“I’d say 80% of the season he played hurt with a lower body injury.” https://t.co/MqkRLnjWiA

What a difference a couple of days can make. One moment Sergei Murashov was lying down resting. A phone call changed everything. Now there’s a chance he will be in goal Thursday for the Pittsburgh Penguins when they face Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals [Pittsburgh Penguins]
The New Jersey Devils no longer have any stalwart forward prospects in their pipeline. However, they do have a few to be excited about, meeting, or exceeding some expectations in comparison to their draft position. After some preseason hype following some strong play, the Devils’ top two forward prospects are struggling to find offence in the American Hockey League. [New Jersey Devils]
The offseason is upon us as the Los Angeles Dodgers won one of the greatest World Series games ever played, defeating the Toronto Blue Jays to capture back-to-back championships — the first team to accomplish the feat since the 1998-2000 New York Yankees.
