Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“I’m not entirely sure yet, the release date could change a lot depending on how the game develops with player feedback. Ideally I would like to have the core game done by early-mid 2026, with additional content updates after the full release.”
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“I plan on adding multiple areas, each with their own unique set of items to discover. I would also like to add enchantments at some point, as well as events that can randomly occur during the game (+Seasonal Events). All of the items in the game have voxel-based models, which was done so I could create a large amount of models in a reasonable timeframe. I do plan on making proper 3D models for each of the items, unless players like the voxel-based ones.”
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“Currently the game has the finished starting area with [N] items to dig, although this area may be expanded on in the future. The game is fully playable and has all the content outlined on the store page.”
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“The price may increase slightly as the content in the game expands, but nothing dramatic.”
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
“More than anything my goal is to make a game that people will enjoy, so any feedback is welcome :)”

Burrow is a game about digging up silly things in order to make money, and help rebuild a long-forgotten park to its formal glory! Discover hidden secrets and explore the world while meeting new characters, and building your wealth!

Digging is a test of timing, with rarer items getting increasingly difficult! Accuracy matters, as poor timing causes the item’s quality to go down, or even break.
