Hey there friends! Its been a while since we had our last devlog, but we’ve made some pretty substantial changes to the game since our last devlog. We are less than a month away from showcase, and there is still a bit that we will need to do behind the scenes to make sure that the game is ready to play so that we can all enjoy the game this December. For this current November update for the third prototype, here are a few of the major changes that we made to the game.
- Added Mosilk, Trasilk, and Cosilk cards
- Artwork finalized for all Creature and Material cards
- Adjusted any text for cards to make them all coherent
- Added the Trivia card system
- Revamped the play-mat for Tabletop simulator
- Placed an order from GameMaker to have our cards printed for in person play

For our overview, here was what we had discussed prior to the third prototype: The team decided that the final artwork and graphics for all of the cards needed to be done so that we could get our cards sent over to game maker. I also decided for tabletop simulator that a complete overhaul and update to the play-mat was also necessary. We then decided on our tasks to get this done. Logan was tasked with making all of the art for the creates, Austin finished any graphics for the material cards, changed any text on existing cards, and finished the play-mat, in addition to ordering the card set. Sean worked on the graphics for the trivia cards. And Gadson made the questions and answers that were associated with the trivia cards.
We have pretty much developed most of the game, so as we near the fourth prototype, we will conduct more play tests just to make sure the general flow of the game works with the new trivia system in addition to the newer creature cards. As we make our way to the end of the game, we also would like to add a more coherent rule-set just to make sure everyone knows how to play the game universally. With all of this being said, we hope that when the game is finished you are all able to enjoy the game and hopefully gain some insight about fashion from our trivia system as we have aimed to make the game more educational about fabrics.
