Pattaya, Thailand – November 12th, 2025
Authorities from Provincial Police Region 2 and Chonburi Public Health Office stormed an unlicensed medical clinic in Pattaya this afternoon, only for two suspected impostor doctors—one man and one woman—to escape in separate vehicles as officers closed in.
The raid took place at 3:30 p.m. at Center Pattaya Clinic, (Name released publicly by Provincial Police and the Chonburi Public Health Office to inform potential clients) located at 202/109 Moo 9, in Nongprue. Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen that the facility was operating illegally and catering almost exclusively to foreign patients, police deployed an undercover operative to pose as a patient.

Once treatment was complete, a joint team led by Pol. Col. Thianchai Lertmaneetaweepol, Chief of Investigation Division 1, Provincial Police Region 2, and Jirasan Miratthanawat, head of the Consumer Protection and Public Pharmacy Unit at Chonburi Public Health Office, moved in to execute a search warrant.

As officers entered, the two suspects bolted out the back and sped away in two cars, evading immediate capture.
The four-story commercial building’s ground floor housed the clinic, which offered general medical services. Floors 2–4 were rented rooms. The property owner cooperated fully, granting access for a thorough search.

Investigators seized a quantity of prescription and controlled medications for further analysis.
Officials involved in the raid confirmed the clinic had no legal operating license. No licensed physicians or pharmacists were present, and no professional credentials were displayed—violations of Thai medical regulations. The facility primarily treated foreigners and rarely accepted Thai patients.

Police are now tracing the two getaway vehicles through registration records and examining phone numbers listed on clinic business cards. Owners of the cars and individuals who contacted the listed numbers will be summoned for questioning as the investigation proceeds under relevant laws.
