Time for the System Source Swap Meet pics I took... in no particular order. Letās goooo! š§µ time.
First we have an Amiga with some Macs, etc. Also, tons of interface cards. Some cool Apple stuff. And some IBM PCs!
**
More PCs, macs, laptops, and some software! The boxed copy of StuffIt Deluxe caught my eye!
**
One seller impressively had the original boxes for most of his stuff!

This commercial ISA card in the foreground is pretty neat, though I donāt know much about it!

It just keeps going and going! I found this briefcase tester(?) system to be neat. Apple IIC. And Atari Home Computer in box!

Memory, opticals, more laptops

This was one cool table... I am not a Commodore guy, but Amigas are cool, as is the SX-64 **
Bin of cards, some more opticals, A beige box hiding under the table too. LOL
**
So, I dug through this box of $1 cards and bought most of them š **
This guy had some RARE cards. An original Sound Blaster. An ATI Mach64 VLB card too. And a SCSI VLB card (I should have bought it, but $40 was a little steep).
**
Weāre almost done, I PROMISE. Here are the last of the swap meet pictures I too. The guy selling the Mac setup literally wanted single digits for it. Someone should have taken it home!!!
**
Tons of Mac laptops, and this Newton was cute!
**
I got to see my friends too! I didnāt get nearly enough pics with them though. But we do have @veeb0rg, @wrljet , @techknight2 and @torbar here!
Congrats, you made it to the end of the thread! Thanks for following along! @threadreaderapp unroll

Itās always fun to install āolderā OSes on systems not designed for them. Given that, how about we install Windows ā98 SE on this Dell Latitude D600 with a Pentium M processor? Letās have a look at it in a š§µ here!
So, first and foremost, this site is AWESOME! There is a bundle of drivers that you can download, and inside the bundle is a readme file with some very clear instructions on what to do! retrosystemsrevival.blogspot.com/2018/05/dell-lā¦
I kicked off the install, and not far into the process, we ran into an issue since this system has more than 512MB of memory. I had to add a line to system dot ini under the [386enh] section as you see here (MaxPhysPage=20000). After that change, install proceeded!

Letās test a few things that I picked up at the DFW swap meet this weekend! Weāll use the trusty Dell Precision 220 Workstation as the test rig, along with Windows 2000. Time for a š§µ
So, first weāll test the Diamond AGP card. Itās an OEM card, and after some searching, I THINK it is a Diamond Speedstar A200, with the S3 Savage4 PRO chipset. In it goes! And I lied, I used Windows XP to test this one, I forgot š. Anyway, it checks out ā
Next, we have this card here, I think itās an Nvidia card. Foolishly, I thought it was PCI, but itās PCI Express. I have no use for this! Itāll go on the free table at the next event I attend, whatever that is!

Shopping Geekenspielās website is always a fun experience for me! I decided to put some of these stickers to immediate use! First, the Dell Precision 220 Workstation now has a proper Dual Pentium III sticker. I placed a few more too! š§µ
I had a Multimedia PC sticker on my 486DX4/100 before I swapped the case, I think! And now I have one again!
I covered up the ācrackā on my Gateway 2000 Vivitron 15 monitor, but I might swap this out for a different sticker later that covers more area.
