The Prototype Design:

This game idea was brought to life one evening two weeks ago, I leaned back in my chair and looked at hte poster on my wall of the Tardis from Doctor Who make out of hundreds of stamps, and thought to myself “this could make for a good game”. Just like everything it was just an idea so I spent the evening mocking up a quick demo of the game that let you place “stamps” onto a canvas.

I spent the same night pouring ideas out onto a whiteboard, finding reference images, researching. To avoid unnecessary scope creep, I explored how each idea effects the players experience and avoided adding any features that didn’t add to/improve the experience.

My aim with the prototype was to get all the core features in and a small amount of polish so I could get the game out…
