After Fractal Istanbul, Tarık Tolunay turned his gaze toward Paris. As the second chapter of the long-term “Fractal Maps” series, Fractal Paris explores the soul and memory of cities.

Born from the idea that a city is not made only of buildings, Fractal Paris reimagines the city as a network of memories, stories, and human traces. Through an isometric and fractal lens, Tolunay meticulously reconstructs Paris — neuron by neuron, not algorithm by algorithm.

This work is more than a map; it is the emotional topography between the city and its people. Every street, every roof, every detail reveals a layer of history — from the Belle Époque to the present day.

Fractal Paris is still in progress. Like a living city, it continues to grow, evolve, and deepen day by day.
