The holidays are nearing, but that is not stopping the Automobilista 2 development team. Reiza Studios has teased that the Nordschleife Touristenfahrten will be coming to Automobilista 2. Even better, it might just be released in time for Christmas.

The Nürburgring 2025 DLC for Automobilista 2 already introduced the latest laser-scanned 20.8km Nordschleife North Loop, and the 24h layout that combines the GP track with the Nordschleife. Now the Touristenfahrten layout will complete the pack.

While not confirmed, it is most likely that the layout will be a free add-on for those who already own the Nürburgring 2025 DLC.

Nordschleife Touristenfahrten

The Nordschleife Touristenfahrten (Tourist Rides) is a unique public access session on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife. The layout of the ride is officially designated as a one-way public toll road.

Touristenfahrten sessions typically run from mid-March to mid-November, though the track opens whenever the weather permits.

Driving your private vehicle around the track is not for everyone, as the Nordschleife is notoriously dangerous due to its 73 corners, blind crests, and lack of run-off areas. Many individuals have managed to wreck their car during their recreational drive at teh Green Hell.

Because the Döttinger Höhe main straight is used for the entrance/exit gates, you cannot drive a full flying lap. Competitive drivers time themselves from the “Bridge” at the start to the “Gantry” at the end.

Automobilista 2 is currently available via Steam Winter Sale for €11,09€. The Automobilista 2 + 2020-2021 Season Pass Bundle is available for €97.55.
