The far-Left outlet Teen Vogue will no longer operate as a standalone publication, with Condé Nast announcing plans to fold it into its flagship digital brand, Vogue.com.

The NewsGuild of New York and Condé Union both condemned the move, which reportedly led to 75% of staffers being laid off, including the entire political editorial staff. They also complained about who in particular lost their jobs.

“Management plans to lay off six of our members, most of whom are BIPOC women or trans, including Teen Vogue’s Politics Editor — continuing the trend of layoffs at Condé disproportionately impacting marginalized employees,” a joint statement from the unions said.

“As of today, only one woman of color remains on the editorial staff at Teen Vogue. Condé leadership owes us — and Teen Vogue’s readership — answers. We will get those answers. And we fight for our rights as workers with a collective bargaining agreement as we fight for the work we do, and the people we do it for,” the statement said.

The Vogue business team said in a letter that this “transition” is “part of a broader push to expand the Vogue ecosystem,” and claimed that the new, merged version of Teen Vogue, “will remain a distinct editorial property, with its own identity and mission,” per Deadline.

“We are looking forward to this new chapter. In our increasingly fragmented media landscape, making all Vogue — Teen Vogue and Vogue Business — accessible in one place sets us up for growth,” Vogue’s head of editorial content, Chloe Malle, said in a statement.

Teen Vogue launched in 2003 as a sister publication to Vogue, targeting a younger demographic of women. The magazine is known for pushing a far-Left agenda on topics such as abortion, climate change, President Donald Trump, and a host of other political issues.

In 2020, Teen Vogue published an op-ed advocating for the abolition of personal property and the dismantling of police departments.

In July 2019, the outlet published an article titled, “How to Get an Abortion If You’re a Teen,” in which the author posited, “It’s only logical that if teens are mature enough to become parents, they are mature enough to decide whether or not they want to give birth. Having access to abortion should be your right, regardless of your parents’ beliefs.”

“You know your parents best: Do you fear for your safety if you reveal your pregnancy?” the article asked. “Are you worried they might meet you with violence or kick you out of the house? If yes, there is a legal option in 36 states that would let you get an abortion without parental approval called a judicial bypass procedure — an infantilizing holdup to which nobody should have to resort.”

“Everybody loves someone who’s had an abortion. Including you,” the article concluded.

These are just some of the leftist topics Teen Vogue has promoted over the past two decades.
