The Realme GT 8 Pro was announced last month as a compelling flagship, and then, Realme unveiled a special Aston Martin F1 edition early this month. Now, this rather peculiar variant is available in the Chinese market.

Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Edition Arrives With Unique Design and Luxury Package

Realme states that this special design combines Realme’s flagship hardware with a distinctive F1-inspired aesthetic made alongsidethe Aston Martin Formula 1 Team. Since this is a luxury variant, it comes in a single variant with the top specs you find in the GT 8 Pro lineup. It has 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of Internal Storage.

The Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Edition adopts design cues from Aston Martin’s Formula 1 cars. It features a striking “Racing Lime” color option. It also brings a carbon fibre texture in the camera’s island as well as a silver wing emblem.

The back pane has an aerodynamic curvature for improved ergonomics. Moving on, there is a collector’s edition box with racing-themed accessories and a couple of custom cases. There is even a miniature race car model.

Realme also tuned itsRealme UI for a unique F1-themed user experience. It has animated wallpapers, exclusive icons, dynamic charging visuals, and camera watermarks that reflect the Aston Martin partnership.

Specifications and Price

In terms of specifications, there are no big differences between this Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 edition and a regular 8 Pro. It has a 6.79-inch 2K AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of whopping 7,000 nits, and a bezel-less design.

Under the hood, we have the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC with 16GB RAM and 1TB Storage. The phone has a 7,000mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast-charging.

The cameras include a 50MP sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto unit co-developed with Ricoh GR. The phone supports 10x optical zoom, 120x digital zoom, and 4K 120fps video recording.

The luxury variant costs CNY 5,499 ($770) and is already available in China. The smartphone launches in global markets this month, but we cannot say for sure if this variant will leave China.
