Hello everyone I got a good price on gevi grinder and i snagged it as i needed a 64mm grinder for different profile of coffee from other grinder. But seems to me that this grinder may have some manufacturing issue in terms of misalignment. Do you think on the left side there is a misfit with the grind chamber housing and the adjustment collar.
Thanks

Yes, the dial and grinder body look offset. Based on the photos I’ve seen, the two parts should be concentric, so something is shifted out of alignment, unless the camera angle just makes it look that way. I don’t know exactly what is…

Yes, the dial and grinder body look offset. Based on the photos I’ve seen, the two parts should be concentric, so something is shifted out of alignment, unless the camera angle just makes it look that way. I don’t know exactly what is out of whack, but it should be apparent if you check the adjustment collar and burr chamber. It could be it was opened up and incorrectly reassembled (which could be fixable) or maybe something more serious, like a bend shaft.
Is it grinding normally without making some odd noises?

The whole burr touch suppose happen at 0 point i hear motor making clicky noises from 2 onwards and it goes away around 3 or something. That is why i suspect serious misalignment

I suggest looking at the following YouTube video, which clearly explains how to disassemble the burr adjustment mechanism for cleaning and then reassemble it:
