Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day operations, overseeing the operations team and department to ensure train availability and reliability, focusing railway safety 2. Ensure organizational processes comply with regulations and standards Alstom. 3. Uphold health and safety guidelines and enforce compliance (AZDP) 4. Improve Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for efficient operations. 5. Enhance systems, processes, and best practices. 6. Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, and training. 7. Handle budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet strategic goals. 8. Monitors employee and team performance, offering coaching, training, and feedback for improvement. 9. Collaborate cross-departmentally to align operations with organizational objectives. 10. Implement quality assurance measures for products/services and monitor production and contractula KPIs. 11. Enhance customer service quality and satisfaction 12. Work with all team member to identify process improvement opportunities and cost savings, to ensure respect of hard inventory budget, improve maintenance cost, sales, and ppi 13. Optimize workflows and processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 14. Monitor maintenance processes to ensure high-quality-safety maintenance 15. Report on operational efficiency and quality standards. 16. Foster innovation and productivity through effective communication. 17. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. 18. Integrate new technologies and business processes as needed. 19. Maintain service operations to ensure sustainability. 20. Develop conflict-resolution programs and lead conflict-management practices

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a similar university Degree

Desired Knowledge / Experience

• Technical experience and expertise in mechanical and electrical infrastructure maintenance techniques and principals

• Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and automation equipments

• Strong EHS knowledge, local legislation and environmental standards

• Languages : good knowledge of English (written & spoken)

• Previous experience as a maintenance Engineer or similar role in industrial setting (5 years)

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD for design and layout purposes or similar

Behavioural Competencies

• Maintenance management experience

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• IT skills – competent user of Personal Computer, including office packages, e-mail and intranet
