We ordered new inflatables and told you why. You asked great questions:

- Why did they steal our inflatables?
- What did they do with the inflatables?
- Will they get caught?
When the new inflatables arrived, you asked another great question: will someone steal the new inflatables?
The answer is I don’t know, and maybe. Over the next few days you continued to voice your concerns about the new inflatables being stolen. We talked about it on the way home from school. Here’s what I said.
We bought those inflatables a year ago. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of people walked by them. I’ve personally seen parents taking pictures of their kids who were thrilled with the decorations. Almost all of it is invisible to us. But the thing that impacts us most is the one person who steals from us. Yet that’s a small fraction of the total impact we’ve created.
Our goal was to spread joy, and we did that.
Even though we couldn’t stop them from stealing our inflatables, we can stop them from stealing our will to spread joy.
There will be people in life who take from us. Don’t let them take more from you than they actually stole.
