What prompted me to write this article: the app pane that goes “poof”

I am a writer and editor, and for many years, I tested software as a career. I use all kinds of software in my daily life.

And I am autistic. Do I have something to say about application usability for autistic people, and how software testers can help improve it? You bet.

Let me give you an example. One of my mobile applications provides a multilingual display, with commentary, of a text that is dear to the hearts of millions of people. It can display up to four panes of text or commentary at a time. It’s a brilliant idea.
