12th October 2025 - I launch my blog and publish my first post on it.
It’s been more than a year (and a month) already. I missed my blog’s anniversary and didn’t realize it. But I wanted to take a moment to look back on all of it.
Back then I wanted my blog to be a place where I could write things. Just like my own public diary. The goal being to let go of the pressure of posting.
In one little year a lot happened, and this little diary grew. It grew into something I could proudly call a blog. Something that is read by people. Something that can help myself and others a bit.
I also participated to the Blaugust challenge. I’ve met a lot of bloggers thanks to this event. It was the first time that I’ve achieved something like that. Something that I chose to participate to even if no one ever asked me to. It was a great experience.
Today I’m putting more pressure on myself trying to post more elaborate things. But that is not a good idea, since I don’t want to lose my public diary. So I’ll go back to how things were. I’ll just write things in my diary and see if it’s worth sharing or not.
Sometimes it could be an advice for me or others. It could also be an event that I don’t want to forget. I may also take the time to ruminate over said event. Or some stories may just appear in the diary.
The only thing that I know is that I want to share my journey. To look back on what I published and be able to see the path I took. I want to see myself evolving through my posts. And to be able to meet other people through those very posts.
Thanks to everyone who followed me until now. Thanks to everyone who encouraged me. Thanks to everyone who read some of my posts.
This journey will not end here. I still have things to learn, things to teach and things to share. I hope that you’ll like what there is to come.
Thank you very much for reading - Muliama
