Up along the Hudson Bay coast in Fort Severn (Wasaho Cree Nation), cloudy conditions continue with a few light snow showers drifting through. Brisk northwest winds at 30 gusting to 50 kilometres an hour will make it feel closer to minus 10 at times. High near zero, low tonight around minus 8 with clearing late.
And over in Attawapiskat, it’s a cool, cloudy day with scattered flurries possible this afternoon. Winds northwest 20 to 40 kilometres an hour and a high of plus 1. Tonight, partly cloudy and cold with a low near minus 6.
Looking ahead to Friday and Saturday, high pressure builds in — bringing brighter skies and sunshine across most of the Far North. Expect daytime highs in the mid-single digits and overnight lows well below freezing.
