The Minisforum MS-R1 has been officially introduced in Japan as a new mini PC that features an identical chassis to the MS-A1 but is powered by an ARM CPU. It also has a PCIe x16 slot, bringing support for dGPU.

Minisforum has formally introduced the MS-R1 in Japan. At the core, it comes with a China-made ARM CPU, the Cixin P1. Developed by CIX Technology, this 6 nm processor features a 12-core configuration with eight Cortex A720 performance and four Cortex A520 efficiency cores.
