With just two teams on bye, NFL Week 11 has a couple of blockbuster matchups, several division rivalries and the final international game of the year.
The Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins are overseas for the NFL’s first-ever game in Spain. The Dolphins are coming off a rebirth-level win against the Buffalo Bills (30-13!) and are favored in Madrid by 2.5 points against the Commanders, who just fell 44-22 to the Detroit Lions. The Commanders are beat up and will still be missing Jayden Daniels for Sunday’s game.
The Bills’ odds haven’t taken a huge hit for Week 11, despite facing a marquee matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bills are 5.5-point favorites. Tampa Bay and Buffalo have both lost a bit of shine in the last week (TB lost to the Patriots in the Tom Brady Former Teams Bowl), but could easily right the ship with a win here.
The Sunday night slot has a monster clash between top Super Bowl contenders: the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles. As of Monday afternoon, before playing their Week 10 game, the Eagles are 1.5-point home favorites. That line could move based on their Monday night game with the Green Bay Packers, but either way, a shortened week against Detroit isn’t something anybody would ask for.
The other closest contests in the odds are:
- Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (-3)
- Los Angeles Chargers (-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars
- San Francisco 49ers (-3) at Arizona Cardinals
- Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams (-2.5)
That’s right: Another week, another battle for the NFC West. The two winners of Week 10’s NFC West matchups now face each other, with the Rams favored over the Seahawks. After dominant wins by each against the other two division teams, L.A. and Seattle are tied at 7-2 at the top of the division, so the winner will finally take the sole top spot. How long they can hold onto it is another matter.
There are three spreads of over a touchdown for Week 11:
- New York Jets at New England Patriots (-11.5)
- Green Bay Packers (-8.5) at New York Giants
- Baltimore Ravens (-9) at Cleveland Browns
Could New England or Baltimore fall into a divisional trap? Unlikely, but if Week 10’s game between Carolina and New Orleans taught us anything, it’s that the unlikely can and does happen in the NFL all the time.
The week is littered with divisional trap games that could get interesting. Perhaps the headliner is the AFC West-leading Denver Broncos hosting the Kansas City Chiefs, who are favored by 4 points in Colorado. But we’ve also got the Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the Cincinnati Bengals as 5.5-point favorites.
Here are all the odds, game times and networks for NFL Week 11.
