Police are looking for any information related to a shooting on Saturday afternoon in Sanford that killed a 22-year-old and injured another person, Sanford Police Department said.
Just after 3:30 p.m. police were called to the area of 14th Street and Mangoustine Avenue regarding a shooting, police said. Upon officers arrival they discovered La-Don Ja Quan Williams who was suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.
Williams was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died, police said.
Another person was located at a nearby hospital with minor injuries related to the shooting, police said.
Their identity has not been released yet publicly.
