Following the massive success of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, which grossed over $600 million, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc has now surpassed $100 million worldwide. The film has also gained critical acclaim, with a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, an A rating on CinemaScore, and a 70% score on Metacritic.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc serves as a solid entry point for newcomers while still delivering plenty for longtime fans. However, its self-contained narrative also keeps the stakes lower than expected for a story set in such a vast, violent world.

The stunning animation, thrilling battles, and even the fan service are best experienced on the big screen.

Still, with no confirmed release date for the next season, many fans are eagerly waiting to find out when they’ll be able to stream Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc at home. Here’s everything we know — or think we know — about the anime film’s planned digital release.

When will Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc be available to stream on Crunchyroll?

No official release date has been announced yet for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc on streaming platforms. However, Sony’s anime films typically take about four to five months after their North American theatrical release to arrive on company’s anime-focused streaming platform Crunchyroll.

Spy x Family Code: White premiered on Crunchyroll on September 5, 2024, roughly four and a half months after its domestic theatrical debut on April 19, 2024. Similarly, Haikyu!! The Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump streamed on Crunchyroll on October 31, 2024, exactly five months after opening in theaters on May 31, 2024.

Based on this pattern, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is expected to begin streaming on Crunchyroll sometime between March 10 and March 24, 2026.

Then again, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle arrived in American theaters in July 2025 and is expected to remain there well into 2026. Chainsaw Man isn’t hitting the same record-breaking box office numbers, so its home release probably won’t take quite that long, but anything is possible as Sony tests the limits of what it can get away with.

When will Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc be available on Blu-ray/DVD?

As of now, there’s still no official release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc on Blu-ray or DVD. For comparison, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which was also produced by MAPPA and distributed by Sony, became available on digital platforms, including Crunchyroll, on September 21, 2022, coinciding with its Blu-ray/DVD release in Japan.

There’s also no news on when fans can expect a follow-up season to the film, but you can rest assured that Reze Arc will be available on streaming services first. If you’re an anime fan but haven’t had the chance to see what the big deal is, take the time to watch the first season of Chainsaw Man. It’s currently available on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Disney Plus.
