I was recently listening to The Mel Robbins Podcast, where former Harvard professor and researcher Dr. Todd Rose shared something that stopped me mid-listen. He said: “Across every demographic, one of the top 10 priorities for a meaningful life is being more engaged in your community—yet it is also the one people achieve the least.”

I believe this sentence captures a paradox of the world we live in today. Many of us crave a sense of connection and purpose. We want to belong to something meaningful, to give back, and to make a difference in the places where we live.
