I'll ask here after looking for answers but not getting a straight answer to my question
I've been trying to setup a claude skill on a project to run with claude code. Basically i straight asked to CC to build me a skill for some specific tasks, it created the folder structure and files for the skill correctly, but i'm not getting clear feedback if it's using the skill when prompted to do the related work, I've canceled the task to ask it if it was using the related skill and it always says that it isn't, and proceeds to "correct itself", prompting me to select if it can run the skill (same kind of prompt you get when it tries to edit something, for example) I just dont understand if it wasn't actually using the...

I've been trying to setup a claude skill on a project to run with claude code. Basically i straight asked to CC to build me a skill for some specific tasks, it created the folder structure and files for the skill correctly, but i'm not getting clear feedback if it's using the skill when prompted to do the related work, I've canceled the task to ask it if it was using the related skill and it always says that it isn't, and proceeds to "correct itself", prompting me to select if it can run the skill (same kind of prompt you get when it tries to edit something, for example) I just dont understand if it wasn't actually using the skill or if is in some dumb way "lying" to me. I watched a video of a guy building a skill and using it and before trying to do the task, his CC listed that it read the correct skill, mine doesn't seem to even acknowledge the existence of the skill.
Can someone give me some pointers about it? Thanks in advance
