Dude I understand plenty what AI is. I literally work in the tech industry.
And I’m telling you what now that 99% of things we call “AI” are still built on the same transformer model that LLMs and image generators are. Fun fact, even, those medical imaging “AIs” are literally the basis for today’s LLMs. The transformer model is based off of medical imaging technology.
We don’t have a whole lot of very successful AIs built off of true neural networks yet - because true neural network architecture (think: like a brain) is still not even fully understood and is still very much an emerging technology.
A lot of our current AIs are just stapling a bunch of different ai models trained to specialize in different things together via a “manager” of sorts.
You want to see real magic? Loo…

You want to see real magic? Look into what a “perceptron” is.
TLDR don’t try to buzzword me. I know what I’m talking about. There’s definitely really cool things happening behind the scenes, but most businesses are just using it as a big speculative bubble investment. It’s the same reason every single company now is releasing “AI” products that have absolutely nothing to do with AI.
